Stamford Palace Theatre Displaying Work By Ukrainian Artist

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Ukrainian-American international contemporary artist Oksana Tanasiv will exhibit her work in "Art Beyond Style" at the Stamford Palace Theatre through the end of October.

The exhibit will feature collections of original art from the fashion fine art series. The collections to be presented during the show are individual techniques using Swarovski crystals, fabric, gold and silver leaf. Some pieces from the Couture Art collection contain up to 10,000 crystals and sequins individually applied.

Tanasiv was a featured artist of New York Couture Fashion Week since 2012. Most of her art is influenced by fashion collections shown on runway shows, models appearance, famous brands and glamour.

The Stamford Palace Theatre is at 61 Atlantic St.
