STAMFORD, Conn. -- A group of local Stamford girls will be transformed into their favorite American Girl dolls for a fashion show at the Stamford Hilton Hotel.
The American Girl Doll Fashion Show will be held on Sunday, Nov. 8, with Stamford girls Savannah, Lucy and Miranda and others modeling the contemporary fashions for girls and their dolls.
The event will benefit "Dance for All." This event is sponsored by Lord & Taylor and The Palace Theatre.
There will be three shows: at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. as over 100 local children model the fashions.
The featured fashions will be historical clothing, from day wear to sleep wear to special occasion dresses. The outfits will resemble the fashions worn by the American Girl characters Kaya, Caronline, Josefina, Addy, Samantha, Rebecca, Kit, and Julie.
"Just like You" outfits and sweet Little Girl fashions for little ones will be presented in the program.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available. To learn more call Marti Etter at: 203-358-8853 or email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
