Every year, the film festival supports an important cause. The 2016 cause will support human rights, and Wednesday’s screening is part of the introduction to the 2016 festival.

“Spotlight” stars Naomi Watts, Rachel McAdams, Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, John Slattery, and Billy Crudup. It is about the Boston Globe’s investigative unit, and their discovery of the child-abuse and cover-up scandal within Boston’s Catholic Archdiocese.

The film starts at 7 p.m.
