Fairfield County's Goldenberry Event Supports Strays And Others

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Goldenberry, a shop specializing in gourmet treats and gifts from Britain, is hosting a fundraiser for Strays and Others, a nonprofit, no-kill animal welfare agency.

Goldenberry will offer a selection of sweets and savories as well as wine and other beverages on Thursday, Oct. 22.

A portion of the $5 donation supports Strays and Others, as will raffle tickets. Interested donors can also contribute through the agency's facebook page.

Goldenberry's fund raiser will run from 5:15 p.m.to 8 p.m.
