The concept of a blow-out shop is “the heat of the moment,” with similar salons opening up all over, including New York City and Los Angeles, to offer blows out for those seeking sleek hair, according to statement from the salon.

Owners Liria Heidenreich and Quinn Caravella are hoping to bring the service to a modern location for metro clientele.

“Our mission is to offer an affordable-luxe service that encourages confidence, contributing to Stamford’s evolving city status,” Caravella said in a statement.

The salon offers “on-the-fly” blow-outs for $40 and take less than 45 minutes, in addition to a slew of other services for special occasions, including coloring and beauty treatments. The shop also has “frequent flyer points,” offering a free blow-out after coming for 10, as well as other packages for customers.

The Style Bar also uses top products such as Parlux professional high-torque hair dryers, and Leonor Greyl botanical liquids. Customers are treated to a glass of wine with each service, the statement said.

Before hitting the floor at the Style Bar, each stylist goes through an extensive training program, the release said.

The Style Bar is located at 121 Towne St. in the Lockworks Building in Harbor Point. The salon also offers plenty of free on-site parking.

The salon can be contacted by calling 203-914-1180 or email for more information or to book an appointment. You can also learn more about the salon by visiting its website or liking its Facebook page.
