The National Weather Service issued a flood watch until 6 a.m. on Tuesday. High wind warnings were also forecast until 1 a.m. on Tuesday. The storm will also bring heavy rain on Monday night. The storm is expected to bring minor to moderate coastal flooding, according to the National Weather Service.
Light rain will begin Monday afternoon with winds reaching around 35 miles per hour, and gusts up to 50 mph. The storm’s impact will be most severe on Monday night, with heavy rain and wind gusts that could reach 55 mph. Rainfall could reach 1-2 inches.
Rain will continue Tuesday morning and into the afternoon, but the winds are expected to diminish. Clouds will linger throughout Tuesday night before the storm clears out on Wednesday, which is expected to be sunny with highs in the upper 40s. Click here for the National Weather Service forecast.
