Water Main Break Floods I-95 In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. — Flooding on the roadway was causing delays Thursday morning on I-95 in Darien, according to the Connecticut State Police and the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

The flooding in the roadway was due to a water main break on I-95 southbound between Exits 10 and 9, DOT said. The right lane is closed in the area. The problem was reported at about 9 a.m., DOT said.

Connecticut State Police said troopers were on their way to block the right lane. Traffic tie-ups were in the area.
