Traffic Delayed On I-95 As Cleanup Continues Of Overturned Tractor-Trailer

GREENWICH, Conn. — One lane was still closed Friday morning on I-95 northbound in Greenwich after a tractor-trailer overturned in the early morning, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred on I -95 north between Exit 2 for Delavan Avenue and Exit 3 for Arch Strreet, backiing up traffic from Greenwich into Rye, N.Y., as of about 7 a.m., DOT said. 

The crash was first reported at about 4:25 a.m., DOT said.

The right lane was still closed in the area as of 7 a.m., DOT said. Two northbound lanes had been closed earlier.
