Ramapo Police Seek Fugitive In Burglary Case RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The Town of Ramapo Police Department is seeking a fugitive wanted for burglary and possession of burglars' tools. Michael Russo, 54, was arrested for the Jan. 1 burglary of an office on Route 59 in Airmont. Russo is 6 feet tall and weighed 230 pounds at the time of his arrest. He is currently homeless.  Anyone with information related to his whereabouts is asked to contact the Town of Ramapo Police Department at 845-357-2400.

Stony Point Police Arrest Mahwah Woman In Fraudulent Check Case MAHWAH, N.J. -- A Mahwah woman was arrested for allegedly attempting to pass a fraudulent check in Stony Point, according to police.  Tatiana M. Franco, 21, was arrested by Stony Point Police following a traffic stop and subsequent investigation.  Franco allegedly attempted to both pass a fraudulent business check at the Chase at 22 S. Liberty Drive in Stony Point and destroy the evidence.  She was released after posting $500 cash bail and issued an appearance ticket returnable for Aug. 3.

Ridgewood Troupe Stages 'Jesus Christ Superstar' RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Ridgewood High School New Players Company will stage "Jesus Christ Superstar" on Friday and Saturday.  "Jesus Christ Superstar" is a Broadway rock opera by lyricist Tim Rice and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.  Performances will take place at 8 both nights and at 2 p.m. Saturday.  The production will be held in the school's Little Theatre.  Ridgewood High School is at 627 E. Leonia Police Offer Pokemon Safety Tips LEONIA, N.J. -- The Leonia Public Library will host a Pokemon in the Park Safety Talk and Gathering Thursday. The Leonia Police Department will begin with a presentation on staying safe while capturing and training Eevees and Mewtwos.  An hour's worth of Lure Modules and Pokemon button making will follow the presentation.  Participants are encouraged to show their team pride.  The event will begin at 3:15 p.m. at the Wood Park picnic tables.

Nichols Fire Department Trains In Water Rescue TRUMBULL, Conn. -- The Nichols Fire Department participated in a water rescue training exercise on Thursday, July 7. Fire fighters Craig Entwistle and Christian Horch were assigned the roles of swimmers in distress, while the rest of the crew was tasked with using the iRDC inflatable rescue boat and other equipment for water rescues.  The training exercise was completed in a few hours.

Stratford Piano Teacher To Serve No Prison Time For Molesting Girls STRATFORD, Conn. -- A Stratford man accused of sexually assaulting two young girls from Monroe will not serve any prison time, according to the Connecticut Post.  Bruce Bean Connery, 70, is Stratford's former EMT head and was a piano teacher to the victims, the Connecticut Post said.
