STAMFORD, Conn. Member of the Stamford Junior Wrestling Warriors competed Saturday at the Western Connecticut Elementary League championships in Danbury.
Eleven teams competed in the tournament, including young wrestlers from New Milford, Danbury, Bethel, New Fairfield, Redding, Pomperaug and Trumbull. The Stamford team is coached by Jaime Camacho and Mike Battinelli. Dean Lucente is the director of the elementary program.
