STAMFORD, Conn. – Just like their varsity counterparts, the Trinity Catholic freshman football team captured the city championship with a 14-12 victory over Stamford High.

The young Crusaders also defeated Westhill earlier in the season, and will return to action Wednesday to face Fairfield Warde. Trinity is coached by Robert Dombrowski.
