Stamford's Tre' Tipton Earns All-Rookie Team At Keene

STAMFORD, Conn. – Former King basketball star and Stamford native Tre’ Tipton was named to the all-rookie team by the Little East Conference. He plays at Keene State College in New Hampshire.

Tipton moved into the team’s starting lineup with 16 games left in the regular season and averaged five points and two assists. He scored a career-high 14 points against UMass-Boston in December and had 13 points  in a 93-84 win over Eastern Connecticut in February.

Tipton was a 1,000-point career scorer at King. He also played for a year at Winchendon School in Massachusetts before going to Keene.

Keene finished 17-11 and reached the finals of the Little East Conference tournament.
