Baines scored 18 points and Jim Djema scored 22 for the Dragons, who improved to 9-8 overall and 5-6 in the Fairchester Athletic Association.
He became the seventh player in school history to surpass the 1,000-point plateau. The McDonald’s All-American nominee will continue his career at Middlebury College.

Baines is averaging 15.7 points per game for the Dragons, who have won four of their last five games. They play St. Luke’s on Friday in a rematch of a contest in December in which the Crusaders won, 57-54.
GFA is trying to climb up in the FAA standings, where they are currently sixth in the eight team league. The Dragons are the two-time defending champions in Class C of the New England Prep School Athletic Conference.
King is 0-9 in the conference and 3-11 overall.
