Stamford Student-Athletes Sign Letters Of Intent For College

NEW MILFORD, Conn. -- Six Canterbury School students signed their letter of intent to continue their academic and athletic pursuits on National Letter of Intent Day during a ceremony last week.

Jenna Joyal, of New Fairfield, will attend Liberty University. Joyal's lacrosse stats include 38 goals and 24 assists in her junior year. Her awards include four-year varsity player, 2013 Coaches’ Award and selection to the Western New England All-Star Team 2015.

Connor Smith, of Trumbull, will attend the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Smith's summer baseball stats include a batting average of .468, six home runs, 58 RBIs and 53 hits. Last summer, he participated in the Prep Baseball Report Showcase. 

Tyler Serricchio, of Stamford, will attend the University of North Carolina-Asheville. Serricchio's high school and summer baseball stats include six home runs and 25 doubles. During his junior year, he finished the season with a .380 batting average. Additional achievements include selection to the CT Junior All-Star game, Scholar-athlete of the Year Award, All-FCIAC Central, and Stamford High School’s baseball MVP. 

Michael White, of Stamford, will attend Stonehill College. White's baseball stats include a batting average of .344, 19 RBIs, 10 doubles and one triple his senior year. His summer stats include 23 innings pitched, an ERA of 2.05, and 28 strikeouts. He was named to Perfect Game WWBA All-Tournament Team. He was named to the top prospects list and top prospects team for Perfect Game Northeast Top Prospect Showcase. 

Hannah Krin, of Roxbury, will attend Coastal Carolina University. Krin's lacrosse stats include 49 goals and 21 assists in her junior year. In addition, she was a 2014 New England All-Star and 2015 Western New England All-Star.
