By now there have been almost as many postponements as there have been games in January. Stamford, Westhill and Trinity Catholic High School sports events for Wednesday have been postponed because of the snow.
The Trinity Catholic boys and girls varsity basketball games against Danbury have been postponed to Thursday, Jan. 27. The girls will play at 5:30 while the boys tip off at 7 p.m. Because of Wednesday's postponement, the girls varsity basketball game against Darien scheduled for Thursday has been moved to Friday at 5:30 p.m.
The Westhill varsity wrestling match against Danbury has been moved to Thursday, Jan. 27, at 6 p.m. The Westhill boys varsity ice hockey game against Trumbull has been postponed to a later date to be announced.
The Stamford/Westhill Co-Op boys varsity swimming and diving meet against Ridgefield has been postponed to Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 3:15 p.m.
