STAMFORD, Conn. The 24th annual Allyson Rioux Memorial golf tournament and celebration dinner will be held May 10 at Sterling Farms Golf Course in Stamford.
The day includes lunch, golf and a dinner at 7 p.m. at the Italian Center. Tickets for the dinner can be purchased separately for $65 for adults and $30 for children.
The golf tournament supports several beneficiaries from Stamford who have endured financial hardships brought on by health issues, job loss and other misfortunes.
The tournament also includes an assortment of raffle prizes, including tickets to Mets and Yankees games, a flat screen television and golf clubs.
The Rioux tournament is one of the most enduring charity outings in Fairfield County and is organized by friends and family members of Rioux, a former star athlete at Westhill High School.
