Darien Rider Qualifies To Compete At National Horse Show

DARIEN, Conn. – While participating in the Maclay Regional equitation finals at the Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport, Courtney Plute of Darien qualified to compete in the National Maclay championship.

The competition will be in November at the National Horse Show in Lexington, Ky. This is the top equitation competition among riders under 18.

Plute is a 2014 graduate of Darien High School and a freshman at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. She is a member of the college’s varsity equestrian team.
