STAMFORD, Conn. -- Carpentry Unlimited’s Matt Tiplady struck out 13 batters in a 1-0 win over Unity in a recent game in the Stamford Little League.
Unity’s Connor Rondano also pitched well, fanning eight, and both teams played good defense.
Patrick Teasdale’s double led to the lone run for Carpentry (7-7) in the first inning. Rondano and Tucker Healy had hits for Unity (8-7).
