Boston College Star From Norwalk Gets Rare TD

NORWALK, Conn. – Norwalk's Kevin Pierre-Louis had a big hand last weekend in Boston College's first victory, 45-17, over Massachusetts. Pierre-Louis, who played at King in Stamford, picked up a fumble and ran 96 yards for a touchdown. You can watch Pierre-Louis' fumble return here.
"The ball was tipped and we always practice tip drills," Pierre-Louis said on the BC website. "I was happy to see on the Jumbotron [linebacker] Luke Kuechlyand a couple of guys behind me. They had my back."
Pierre-Louis, a linebacker, had four tackles, including 1 1/2 for losses. "The key word is confidence,'' Pierre-Louis said. "Our defense started well. Our main goal was to hold teams under 17 points, which we did. It's a confidence builder going into next week. We are still BC. We pride ourselves on tradition and we played a traditional Boston College game."
Pierre-Louis is second on the team in tackles with 38. The Eagles host Wake Forest on Saturday.
