Westhill was the 11th-highest ranked high school in all of Fairfield County, and came in as the 32th-best in the state.
Its student population of 2,130 met or exceeded the state average in all of the surveys major metrics, which included: College readiness, mathematics proficiency and English proficiency. The school also boasts an Advanced Placement participation rate of 46 percent.
The Academy of Information Technology was ranked 43th in the state and 13th in Fairfield County. It also met exceeded the state average in all three metrics.

Honors for the top ranked high school in the Nutmeg State went to the Connecticut International Baccalaureate Academy in East Hartford.
