STAMFORD, Conn. Two community groups, the Stamford Board of Realtors and Shippan Point Garden Club, will once again help students pay for college this upcoming school year.
The Shippan Point Garden Club presented a $2,000 scholarship to David Engel, who will study environmental science at Gettysburg College; a $2,000 scholarship to Thomas Addison, who will study plant science at the University of Vermont; and a $500 scholarship to Ashley Northcutt, who will be studying horticulture at the University of Connecticut, a news release said.
All three students were a part of the AgricScience and Technology program at Westhill High School. They were honored at a luncheon at the Stamford Yacht Club on June 14.
The Stamford Board of Realtors presented eight $1,000 scholarships to Stamford students for their community service work. Here are the recipients and the colleges they will attend:

? Elizabeth Guerrero, Fairfield University
