Stamford Student Wins Future Global Leader Award, Scholarship

STAMFORD, Conn. – The World Affairs Forum named Stamford resident Lexi Kelley as the winner of the Future Global Leader Award for Fairfield County.

The World Affairs Forum named St. Luke's senior and Stamford resident Lexi Kelley winner of the Future Global Leader Award for Fairfield County and the $10,000 Merit Scholarship for college.

The World Affairs Forum named St. Luke's senior and Stamford resident Lexi Kelley winner of the Future Global Leader Award for Fairfield County and the $10,000 Merit Scholarship for college.

Kelley, a senior at St. Luke's in New Canaan, won a $10,000 Merit Scholarship as part of the award, given out at a ceremony last month.

She won the award for her work founding Kids Helping Kids, an organization designed to cultivate leadership skills through service projects.

Kelley is active in numerous St. Luke’s activities, including sports and choral groups. In the classroom, she is a Global Scholar.

The Stamford-based World Affairs Forum is a nonprofit organization aimed at expanding understanding of global affairs and America’s role in the world.
