Acting Superintendent James Connelly said lion's share of the budget will again go toward teacher salaries and benefits, though the increases will be smaller than this year's the Stamford Advocate reported.

$2.6 million would be earmarked to cover expenses of the district's newest school, which is being opened to meet the demands of a growing student population, the Stamford Advocate said.
