Stamford Schools To Dismiss Early Tuesday Due To Snow

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Due to the snowy weather, all Stamford Public Schools will have an early dismissal Tuesday.

All after-school activities, ROSCCO and Adult Education classes are cancelled for Tuesday as well.

All Tuesday morning driving tests were canceled as well by the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. 

Western Connecticut State University was also closed, delaying final exams until Wednesday. (Read more about its schedule for Tuesday here.)

About 2 to 4 inches of snow was predicted. Connecticut, the Hudson Valley and the New York City region were under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 p.m. Tuesday, with heavy snowfall predicted for the Tuesday afternoon rush hour.
