The Scholarship Committee members were especially impressed with the applications they received this year, making it difficult to choose only eight students.
To qualify for this scholarship, students must live in Stamford, attend a Stamford public, private or parochial School, have a solid background of community service, and be able to articulate their passion for the volunteer work they have done.
Students who earned scholarships were Daphne LaFortune, Michael Nunziante, Bridget Smith, Jessica Chen, Storm Marie Corrow, Renee Cooper, Paulomi Rao and Emery Tedesco.
