Stamford Adult Education Adjusts Schedule

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford’s Adult Education Program has extended its registration dates into next week, and modified its class schedule due to Hurricane Irene, a Stamford Public Schools press release said.

Adult evening high school registration will take place at Rippowam Center, 381 High Ridge Rd., from Sept. 6-8 at 6 p.m. Classes begin on Sept. 12.

General Education Development registration will take place on Sept. 7 and 13 at 9 a.m. for morning classes and on Sept. 8, 12, 15, at 6 p.m., for evening classes. Registration for both will be at 369 Washington Blvd. Morning classes will start on Sept. 19 and evening classes on Sept. 26.

Registration for English-as-a-second-language morning courses is Sept. 6 and 13 at 8:30 a.m. at 369 Washington Blvd. Registration for evening sessions is Sept. 7, 12, and 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Cloonan Middle School. The morning courses will start on Sept. 19 and the evening courses on Sept. 26.
