Princeton Review Ranks Fairfield University Among 380 Best Colleges

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Princeton Review released its list of 380 best colleges in the U.S. after compiling the results of more than 130,000 student surveys.

Area schools making the overall list are Fairfield University in Fairfield; Purchase College and Manhattanville College, also in Purchase, in Westchester County, and Fordham University in the Bronx.

Specific rankings include categories such as best party school, best classroom experience and stingiest financial aid packages, according to the list.

Syracuse University and Colgate University are both listed in the Top 10 party schools, with University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign coming in at No. 1, according to Princeton Review.

Students looking for best classroom experience should consider Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville or Bard College in Annandale-On-Hudson, the report says.

Colleges with “not-so-great” financial aid packages include SUNY Purchase in Purchase, New York, and Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. New York University hit No. 1 for stingiest financial aid, according to the list.
