STAMFORD, Conn. — Looking to take a course? There's a new home this fall for the Adult and Continuing Education Programs run by the Stamford Public Schools.

The Board of Education’s proposed lease agreement to use space at the Old Town Hall has met the necessary approvals by both the Board of Finance and Board of Representatives.

The classes were formerly held at the Adult Learning Center on 369 Washington Blvd. and at Cloonan Middle School on 11 North St.

They will all be moved downtown to the Old Town Hall at 175 Atlantic St., beginning Sept. 25.

The Adult and Continuing Education program will occupy the entire first floor as well as select rooms on the lower level and third floor.

SPS is exploring opportunities to use this new space for additional adult learning and innovative enrichment programs.

All current Enrichment and High School Credit Diploma courses will remain at Rippowam Center on 381 High Ridge Road.
