New Forbes Rankings Reveal Best Value Colleges In Connecticut

A new study by Forbes ranks Connecticut's top universities by the value of their education.

Yale University topped all other Connecticut colleges and universities ranked by Forbes as offering the best value of education for the tuition price.

Topping the nationwide study is Yale University in New Haven, which ranked 14th overall. The Ivy League institution's average annual tuition is $47,600.

Wesleyan University in Middletown ranked 33rd nationwide with an annual tuition of $49,274.

Trinity College in Hartford was ranked 63rd. It's annual average tuition is $50,776.

The University of Connecticut in Storrs was ranked 124th nationwide by Forbes. UConn's annual tuition also is among the most affordable in the state at $13,366. 

Rounding out the top 200 nationwide was  Connecticut College in New London. Forbes ranked the college 194th with an annual tuition of $49,350.
