High Schools In Stamford Named Among Country's Best

STAMFORD, Conn. – The Academy of Information Technology & Engineering in Stamford was named the 1,134th best high school in the country by U.S. News and World Report in its annual ranking Tuesday.

It was also named the 28th best in Connecticut.

Westhill High School in Stamford was named the 35th best in Connecticut and 1,549th best in the country.

There were 13 other high schools in Fairfield County also named to the list: Weston High School, Ridgefield High School, Wilton High School, Greenwich High School, Darien High School, Staples High School (Westport), Joel Barlow High School (Redding), Fairfield Ludlowe High School, New Canaan High School, Fairfield Warde High School, Brookfield High School, Masuk High School (Monroe) and Brien McMahon High School (Norwalk).
