The workshop is scheduled for 8 to 9:45 p.m. at Room 113 in the Mather Center, 2 Renshaw Road. Residents can provide feedback on a draft plan that maps future plans for conservation and development activity for the town over the next decade. A copy of the plan can be viewed at www.darienct.gov

“The Town Plan will help us approach the future with vision and confidence. The Planning and Zoning Commission has been working hard on preparing this document and I hope Darien residents will share their thoughts and ideas at this meeting” said First Selectman Jayme Stevenson.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for Darien residents to listen to a brief overview of the plan's elements, and then provide comments and feedback. After the public meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission will further review and refine the plan based upon the feedback they received, before considering it for adoption.

“This Plan is an important document which will be used to guide future conservation and development activity over the next decade and beyond,” said Susan Cameron, chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
