Services Set for Yorktown Heights Crash Victim, 21

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – A service will be held Wednesday for Graham John Keenan III of Yorktown Heights, who was killed Saturday, Aug. 4, at around 2:30 a.m. in a car accident on Route 118.  

Keenan, 21, reportedly hit a tree while driving near Croton Heights Road. 

He was born Jan. 24, 1991, in New Rochelle to Graham J. Keenan Jr. and Barbara Keenan. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 2009 and was pursuing his passion for music in New York City. 

A skateboarder, Keenan was instrumental in petitioning the Town Board to build a skate park and in raising funds for the creation of Patriot Skateboard Park. Keenan was also an avid skier. 

In addition to his parents, survivors are a brother, Robert; his grandparents, Graham J. Sr. and Carol Keenan and Marion (Donald Neubert) Finn; two uncles and an aunt. 

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Yorktown Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
