Adam Lanza's Father Is Selling His Stamford Home

STAMFORD, Conn. — Peter Lanza, the father of Adam Lanza the shooter in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, has put his Stamford home up for sale.

The home which is in the Westover area of the city on Bartina Lane is listed at $710,000 Halstead Property, the Zillow posting for the home said. The 2,375 square-foot single-family home has three bedrooms and two-and one-half bathrooms on more than one acre of land, the post said.

“Our firm was hired by the homeowner to market and sell their home in Stamford, Conn. As with any property that we list, we work in a professional and timely manner to achieve the best possible result for the homeowner. We have no further comment at this time,”  Robyn Kammerer, Halstead Property’s executive director of communications, said in a statement.

On Dec.14, 2012, Adam Lanza shot and killed his mother, Nancy, before going to the elementary school and killing 20 children and six members of the school staff. He then took his own life.

After the shooting, his father issued a statement saying how he and his family was grieving and working with law officials on the investigation. He also has met with at least two of the parents of a victim as part of their healing process.
