Stamford Voters Head To The Polls

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford voters are heading to the polls Tuesday as native son Dannel P. Malloy seeks to be re-elected governor in a tough race against Republican Tom Foley.

The two men faced off in 2010 that saw Malloy narrowly win by a little more than 6,400 votes.

The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Here are the polling places:

  • District One: Our Lady Star of the Sea, 1170 Shippan Ave,
  • District Two: Domus (Old Rogers School), Frank Street Entrance
  • District Three: K. T. Murphy (Rear) ,George Street Entrance
  • District Four: Julia A. Stark School (rear), Oscar Street entrance
  • District Five: Stamford High School (rear), Hillandale Avenue entrance
  • District Six: Agudath Sholom, 301 Strawberry Hill Ave.
  • District Seven: First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Bedford St.
  • District Eight: Westover School, 412 Stillwater Ave.
  • District Nine: Neighbors Link, 75 Selleck St.
  • District 10: Westover School, 412 Stillwater Ave.
  • District 11: Stillmeadow School, 800 Stillwater Road
  • District 12: Cloonan School (Side), Powell Place Entrance
  • District 13: Rippowam Middle School, 381 High Ridge Road
  • District 14: Dolan Middle School, 51 Toms Road (front entry)
  • District 15: Springdale School (rear entrance), 1127 Hope St.
  • District 16: Turn of River School, 117 Vine Road
  • District 17: Roxbury School, 751 West Hill Road (Gym entry only)
  • District 18: Turn of River School, 117 Vine Road
  • District 19: Davenport Ridge School, 1300 Newfield Ave.
  • District 20: Scofield Middle School, 641 Scofieldtown Road
  • District 21: Northeast School, 82 Scofieldtown Road
  • District 22: Long Ridge Church, 455 Old Long Ridge Road

All schools are closed Tuesday in Stamford for Election Day.
