Malloy Grants Top State Appointees Raises Of Up To 12%

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – About 200 appointees of Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and other state constitutional officers are receiving salary raises ranging from 3 percent to 12 percent, The Connecticut Mirror reports.

The changes took affect Dec. 26, according to the report. Among the top appointees who received a 12 percent raise is Ben Barnes from the Office of Personal Management, according to information obtained by the Connecticut Mirror. His raise climbed to $209,439 from $186,999, according to the report.
