“I am honored that my campaign for mayor of Stamford has received the endorsement of the Republican Town Committee, and I am deeply grateful for their support,” Fedele said in a statement. “This race is critical to Stamford’s future. I am working very hard every day to get my message before the voters of our city – and I look forward to leading a united Republican Party to victory on Election Day.”

Fedele beat out current Board of Education member Jerry Pia, 21-16. Pia plans on petitioning and running in a primary against Fedele.

I think of how many more helpful I could be…for everyone in our city…EVERYONE…as our mayor.”

For the Board of Finance, the committee endorsed current member Gerald Bosak, Joseph Sargent and current City Rep. Salvatore Gabriele.
