Congressman Jim Himes To Make Two Stamford Stops

STAMFORD, Conn. -- U.S. Rep. Jim Himes will make two stops in Stamford on Wednesday as he tours his district while the House of Representatives is on recess.

Himes, D-4th District, will attend Neighbors Link's first annual breakfast at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Stamford Yacht Club, 97 Ocean Drive W. Neighbors Link is a new nonprofit organization that provides a comprehensive resource center for recent immigrants.

Himes will then speak at the Washington Connection Series sponsored by the Stamford Chamber of Commerce. It will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stamford Plaza Hotel & Conference Center, 2701 Summer St. The cost is $50 for preregistered members, $60 at the door and $500 for a table of 10.
