The Association of Retired Teachers of Connecticut is a nonprofit organization of retired teachers that represent 16,000 members/affiliates and advocate for 33,000 retired Conneticut teachers.
“I was honored to receive the support from the Association of Retired Teachers of Connecticut. As retired educators, they offer a unique perspective on the problems our educational system in Connecticut is facing. Their perspective is something I have always valued and I will continue to take into consideration as a member of the legislature’s education committee,” said Molgano.
ARTC promotes the economic, professional, and social well being of Connecticut's retired teachers. Its primary concerns center on the financial security of members' pension and health insurance benefits. It also advocates for the preservation of Medicare.
