STAMFORD, Conn. -- A woman reported being stabbed during an exchange with a man known to ask for money along Myrtle Avenue at the Interstate 95 overpass in Stamford on Saturday night, according to the Stamford Advocate.
The woman was walking with her 4-year-old child Saturday when the man asked her for money, police told the Stamford Advocate. After responding that she didn't have any money, she felt a stabbing pain on her right side, the Stamford Advocate reports.
She was treated at the hospital for a 4-inch-deep stab wound, the Stamford Advocate said.
