Gabriele Enache, 38, of Northern Blvd., Flushing, was arrested on a warrant and charged with credit card theft, criminal impersonation, illegal use of a credit card, illegal furnishing of goods on a credit card, unlawful completion/reproduction of a credit card, receipt of money/goods/services by illegal credit card use, fraudulent use of an ATM and third-degree larceny, police said.

On June 12, People’s Bank Security alerted Westport detectives to fraudulent ATM transactions at the bank branch on Post Road East. Bank security officers said Enache, who was captured later that day in Darien, made several transactions using many different cards to obtain $3,780, police said.

She also attempted to take $1,400 from a total of 27 transactions in Westport, police said.

Eight customer accounts were compromised.

Enache moved on to ATMs in Fairfield and Darien, where she was detained, police said.

During the course of the investigation, detectives learned Enache had successfully obtained an additional $4,640 using fake cards in May and early June.

Enache was arrested on a warrant when she appeared in Bridgeport court for a prior Fairfield arrest.

She was held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 7
