The worker's mother contacted Daily Voice with an account of the incident. Police had no immediate details. No arrests have been made.

A Loews theater manager declined comment, referring Daily Voice to AMC management, which could not be reached on Tuesday.

"He has been the victim of many intimidating situations,'' the parent from Stamford, Conn., said. "This evening while trying to stop a juvenile from entering the theater with out a ticket he was punched in the face while management watched. Police and an ambulance came. Why after so many complaints to management was nothing done? I wonder if other patrons feel intimidated by these hooligans as well."

On March 5, Port Chester police reported that five people, mostly teens, were arrested for trespassing in a stairwell adjoining the downtown movie complex.

The employee suffered two fat lips and his nose continued to bleed on Tuesday, according to his mother.

"There's been a lot juvenile deliquency around there,'' the woman said. "I just want it to stop."
