Video: Stamford Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect In Robbery At Deli

STAMFORD, Conn. — The Stamford Police Department released a surveillance video of a robbery at the Taste of Poland Deli last month as it seeks help from the public in identifying the suspect.

The robbery occurred at 2 a.m. Sept. 24 at the deli at 598 Newfield Ave., police said.

The video shows the suspect, a white male, shattering the front door of the deli. He then quickly empties both cash registers. 

The suspect is described as a stocky, white male, about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with short hair and a receding hairline. He is wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with a design on the front and light-colored pants.
