Two Workers Have Narrow Escape As Bullets Fly On Stamford's South Side

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Bullets flew Friday near downtown Stamford, shattering a window and putting holes in a work trailer, according to a report by The Stamford Advocate.

Neither of the two men inside the trailer on Atlantic Street near Walter Wheeler Drive were injured in the noon shooting incident, police told The Stamford Advocate.

Witnesses said the target of the shooter or shooters appeared to be a blue car that was going south on Atlantic Street, The Stamford Advocate story said.

Authorities warned local hospitals to be on the lookout for any gunshot victims that may turn up, The Stamford Advocate reported.
