Sgt. Steve Perrotta, who is in his ninth year with the department has served in the Patrol, Youth and Narcotics divisions, and has also been a community resource officer. He served the last three years in the Narcotics Division. He is following in his father’s footsteps, and will wear his father's sergeant's badge. John Perrotta retired as deputy chief of the Stamford Police Department.
Sgt. Christopher Broems is in his 17th year on the force, and has served in the Patrol and Narcotics divisions, and as a school resource officer. He has spent the past nine years in the Narcotics Division.
The married father of three, received has badge from Lt. Chris Baker and will wear the sergeant's badge worn by Baker’s father, Doug.
