STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford police officers Lou Scarano and Billy Edson recently received their new partners, K9 Dobey and K9 Bram.

Both officers and their K9s recently completed their certifications in explosives detection and are working the streets of the city.

The department held a ceremony to recognize the completion of their training, as well the retirement of Sgt. Erin Trew's faithful partner, K9 Riley.

The department recognized several other people responsible for the success of the training, including Sgt. Frank Reda of the Norwalk Police Department, and employees at UBS and The Guiding Eyes Program.
