STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford police are investigating two separate robberies Sunday morning that occurred on opposite sides of town, the Stamford Advocate reports.

Both victims were men who were injured in the incident but refused medical treatment. Both men had their wallets stolen, the Stamford Advocate says.

The first incident was at about 1 a.m. on the city's West Side when a 27-year-old victim reported being pushed in the bushes. The victim said one of the attackers had a gun, the Stamford Advocate reports.

The second incident happened a short time later when a 66-year-old man reported being punched in the face while walking along East Main Street, the Stamford Advocate says.
