STAMFORD, Conn. — Police are investigating a incident Sunday in downtown Stamford in which two men were shot and one assaulted, a Police Department news release said.
The three were found near the intersection of Broad Street and Greyrock Place. One had blunt force trauma injuries, one a gunshot wound in the left leg and one gunshot wounds in the stomach and buttocks, the release said.
All were taken to Stamford Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries, the release said.
Officers did not find a gun at the scene, but shell casings were recovered, the release said. The victim who had the gun did have a permit for it, the release said.
No arrests have been made. Police ask anyone with information to call the Detective Bureau at 203-977-4417.

I’m having a BIG issue as well Lisa. What concerns me as a law abiding, decent hearted citizen is that your son and 6 of his genius friends decided to assault ONE man all at once. I like how you refer to him as a “perpetrator” though, like he woke up that morning and wanted that scenario to happen to him.
And it is funny how you brought race into this too….it really is sad because that is not the issue here. If your son is running around the streets assaulting people like he did, things like this are bound to happen. Maybe if you were positively involved in your son’s life during his upbringing he would not conduct himself in the manner he did that night along with his buddies. I guess NOW you decide to be involved…a real gem of a mom I bet you are. Your child is EXACTLY the character type I do not want my future kids being involved with whatsoever when they get older.
Oh…and it’s a shame to walk around Connecticut with a gun? It’s a shame someone had to use it because they were being beaten almost to death by your “tough” kid. You should look into having another child and try raising that one the right way this time.

It's a shame that your son and his friend allegedly verbally and physically assaulted two people. Perhaps if he was raised correctly he wouldn't be attacking people on the street and forcing someone to take lethal action against him.

My son was 1 of the 2 men who got shot i talked 1 of 2 the detectives and he told me that he cant discuss the case with me .What concerns me as a parent is that they let the perp go no charges no nothing i dont understand how that can Be so now im putting stamford Conneticut on blast let it be known that i will not keep my mouth shut i will go 2 all the news channels and any1 who will listen 2 me what is going on with that investigation i am sadden by the stamford detectives and they know who they are that they did not arrest the perp let me find out that ur allowed 2 walk the street with a Gun and pretty much can shoot who u want @ will and not be punished 4 it im willing 2 bet that the perp was white had it been my son who shot the gun he would have been arrested on the spot no ? asked so with that i have no faith in the stamford Conneticut justice system .
