At 11:50 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, a 19-year-old Stamford man arrived at Stamford Hospital's emergency room suffering from a gunshot wound to his right bicep, police said.

He underwent surgery to remove the bullet and was expected to survive, police said. But the victim was uncooperative and would not provide officers with any information on the shooting, police said.

The Stamford Police Department later on Saturday received multiple reports of several shots fired in the area of Montauk Drive at 1130 p.m. Friday, police said.  No residents or witnesses reported the gunfire to the police and therefore no crime scene was located, police said.

This is the third shooting incident in Stamford within five days, police said.

The Stamford Police Department is urging any residents who hears gunfire to report it to the authorities so it can be promptly investigated.
