Police said Kaley Rashoa Bolton, 30, of 7 Fourth St., was being questioned by police on an unrelated matter when they discovered there was a warrant for his arrest.
As an identifying characteristic, the suspect in the assault and robbery had a glass eye, the arrest warrant said .
According to police, Bolton got into an argument that turned physical with his on-and-off girlfriend when he returned to her Fourth Street residence on Oct. 20 to collect his personal belongings. Police said he also took her wallet.
The woman contacted police after the incident and said the man was headed to the train station. However, he was not apprehended at the time.
Bolton was charged with third-degree assault, third-degree robbery and disorderly conduct. He was held on $50,000 bond for an appearance in state Superior Court in Stamford on Wednesday.
