Suspect Arrested In Multiple Stamford Restaurant Burglaries

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Police have arrested a suspect who is believed to have broken into several Stamford restaurants over the past week, hitting some of them more than once, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The identity of the 18-year-old male who was arrested was not yet released Friday morning, but police told the Stamford Advocate that he is accused of breaking into restaurants in the areas of Glenbrook and Hope Street. 

The burglaries included five the night of Thursday, Aug. 31 and into the next morning, according to the Stamford Advocate. Among the businesses hit were two Indian restaurants in Glenbrook, the Little Monkey Cafe and Ron's Deli on Hope Street, the Stamford Advocate reported.

This week the Little Monkey Cafe and the nearby Tawa Indian restaurant were broken into again, the Stamford Advocate reported.
